If you’re in the Social Media Marketing field, you have dabbled at least a little bit in Facebook Ads. The coolest part about Facebook Ads for me was that I could target a specific like or interest of a group of users and really target my ad to a unique set of users. Well for some, this ability has been replaced with “categories”. The response isn’t very good so far from those that have had the option removed from them.

YouTube Acquires Next New Networks
March 8th, 2011 Mat With all the buzz and stories going big about Facebook and Twitter, the casual user may think that YouTube has fallen by the wayside. Not so fast my friend. YouTube is making steps to help it’s partners and to put more people in a position to be making a living off of YouTube. As of right now only a few hundred are making 6 figures but the amount of people making over $1,000/mo is up 300% but that’s not enough for YouTube. In their acquisition of Next New Networks, it looks to put a team of experts at YouTube partners’ disposal to help make better content and to grown their presence and channel.
